Not much happening today. Trying to get some rest, driven over 500 miles last 3 days and have about 200 tomorrow, plus will be getting up at 5am in attempt to beat the rain and thunderstorms. NOAA predicts 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms here after 1pm tomorrow. At Owensville where we are going, only 70% chance after 1pm. So by getting up at 5, hope to be out of here by 8 and make it to Owensville by noon or 1pm. We did go to a craft mall today and ate at DQ. Filled up the truck so won't have to do that on the way. Hot here and sunny. This is a big place, couple hundred RV slots (thing most of them are extended stay or permanent) and lots of condominium buildings. One pleasant surprise was that they have 50 amp service instead of 30 amp as the book lists. Slots here could be hard to back into. Fortunately we found one that didn't have occupied slots on the other side of the road so it wasn't so bad. 88 degrees here today with 30-40 mph winds. I think I'm going to get a summer home in Barrow, AK. :-(
P.S. That bobcat looks to be about the same size as Sam in the other photo! :-)
Yes, photos can be deceptive. The bobcat was about 3 or 4 times as large as Sam. Weighed Sam this am and he was 18 pounds.
